Just when we thought Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett was out of the shower, he gets pulled back in.
Dockett apologized on Tuesday for taking a shower and posting video of it via Ustream, promising not to make “news or media like that again.” And so we thought it was over.
Not quite.
49ers tight end Vernon Davis needled Dockett via Twitter, eventually claiming that “Dockette” will be taking one shower per day on Ustream “for the rest of this month!“
Dockett didn’t like it. Per Robert Littal of BlackSportsOnline.com, Dockett posted the following response: “Its more than a rivalry its not about us versus them its me versus ‘YOU’ now. I promise u on everything I love I try and f*ck u up!!”
Dockett also suggested that his vow to take care of Davis will involve Dockett playing “by other rules ‘my own rules’ check my background.”
He has since deleted the tweets. But Littal has the screen shot. So while Dockett’s words of wisdom on this specific topic may not be destined for the U.S. Library of Congress, Littal website will preserve them for posterity.

Darnell Dockett could never possibly come close to catching Vernon Davis.
I think the Cardinals need to stop being butt-hurt because they are going to go back to obscurity and mediocrity now that Kurt Warner has retired.
