Spot on. Especially the last line.
I get it. I know Martz’s offense puts a TE back there frequently. But not this guy. Split him out wide or in the slot and put him into a route. Put a FB or at least Clark in the backfield. Olsen’s too lanky and not a good enough blocker for that role.

Chicago tried to win last year with their leading receiver being a tight end. Great. Anybody knows that is ridiculous.
Keep track of wins and losses when Manumaleuna and Olson play. The Bears will win more games with Manumaleuna. Will Olson be happy? Who cares?

maybe Clark knows how to block, maybe he’s “well-rounded”, but seems to me that Cutler was running for is his life, chucking the ball all over the f-ing field last year because he had no protection, someone on that team needs to learn to block! If they didn’t, why the new O-line coach? Why sign Manumaleuna who had 5 receptions last year and 110 over a 9, NINE!, year career? Why? because someone needs to block! Clark might be guilty by association, but guilty nonetheless

You’re way off base by saying that Clark doesn’t know how to block. Granted, he is starting to get a little older, but he’s been one of the most well-rounded TE’s in the league over the past 7-8 years. Do some research before spewing your garbage.
