Last year, the AFL celebrated its 50th anniversary (actually, 50th season). This year, one of the pre-merger NFL teams is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and 51st season.
The Cowboys have unveiled a logo to commemorate their 50th anniversary, which also coincides with the first time the team will host the Super Bowl, a game they’ve won on five prior occasions.
The logo also will appear on the team’s jersey this season.
