Not a Patriots fan, but if ever there was a non story, this is it. Unless Welker is married with children, who the hell cares? And who wouldn’t go to the Mansion? I like the guy, and he has nothing to apologize for. At least the Mansion is a better place to hang out than a dirty bathroom stall in Nowheresville, Georgia…

This is beyond stupid. Being invited to the Playboy mansion is something that only a select group of people ever get to do, some would say it was a “once in a lifetime opportunity”. If they want to give Welker a hard time they should hold Sanchez to the same standard, he was boozing and schmoozing at the White House when he should have been rehabbing his own bum knee…..

Not sure why people would get on Wes Welker’s case. I’m no fan of the Patriots or any of their players but I’ve never heard of any trouble caused by Welker. Rehab sessions are not 24/7 and sometimes you just need some R&R. If he lives up to what he says then he’s an idiot and should give up his pass to a fan or something.
