As anyone with even an iota of understanding about the game of football might tell you, Urlacher’s job is NOT “to get to the quarterback”, but
A) to shed blocks and tackle
B) fill a gap in run stopping support
C) use his lateral speed to make plays sideline-to-sideline
D) drop back into coverage
E) and finally, once in a midnight-blue moon, make a rush (or fake rush, then drop back) at the QB via the Bears’ “mug look” defense–but when Urlacher rushes, the Bears lose that speed and range in the zone behind the d-line

Besides, everyone knows the mullet already has its OWN plans to go after the knees of NFL players everywhere (without Allen).

His job isn’t to stop the run. His job is to rush the QB. The Williams wall is there to stop the run, #3 last year after a 3 year run at #1.
Vikes had the most sacks last year and #6 overall defense. I’d say they are doing just fine.
