Cowboys lose Orlando Scandrick with “shattered” finger

This year’s slate of Organized Team Activities seemingly has featured fewer serious injuries than usual.

The Cowboys’ run of luck ended today.

According to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News, cornerback Orlando Scandrick will miss all remaining offseason workouts after breaking his finger on Tuesday. Surgery revealed damage more severe that previously believed; he reportedly used the word “shattered” to described the condition of the finger.

“I don’t see myself catching any balls until [training] camp starts,” Scandrick said.

Well, at least he now has something in common with Roy Williams.
