Just because they changed the name of the game doesn’t make the game any less or more meaningful…

I don’t think Superbowl and Cleveland can be in the same sentence.
Let Cleveland host their superbowl, it’s the closest they’ll ever get. Pittsburghers don’t want to host the superbowl. We’d rather go to a warm climate to watch the Steelers win yet another superbowl.
We don’t want it.
Let the Oaklands and Clevelands of the world try in some way to become part of the big game.

I hate how all of these warm weather teams are bitching and moaning about the whole cold weather super bowl idea. Think about what football is all about. When I was a kid we used to have snow bowls and play in several inches of snow, because that’s real football. The Super Bowl should be played in rotations in every stadium. You can’t say that it gives cold weather teams an advantage any more than you can say that teams who play on artificial turf have an advantage every year, because that’s usually what the SB is played on. I say give every city a crack at the Super Bowl.

Cold weather Super Bowls are absurd. People go to Super Bowls because of the warm weather to get away from the snow. Yes, I want to go to Cleveland Stadium for a Super Bowl & freeze my hiney off. My Son & I went to a Browns – Rams game in Cleveland in December, we left at the half, to this day, I have never been so cold in my life, even the ’78 Blizzard. Upper Deck West Endzone, Northside, the wind off the lake was howling! I even had a Snowmobile suit on. Yes, we are True Browns Fans, but give me my couch in my warm family room with a fire going. The beer is cheaper, the food is the best!
I vote no on cold weather Super Bowls!

I want to host a Superbowl. In the schoolyard down from my house. I even have two extra bedrooms I can put people up in and two daybeds in the family room. That’s like the first six people right there who won’t need hotel rooms.
As for Cleveland’s rich football history, well, Britain used to be a superpower too. But those days are long gone. Cleveland claiming to have a rich football history is like Mary Astor saying she was pretty once.

If you win it on the field, you won it on the field and no turd like you can argue otherwise. Have some respect for the lineage of the World Championship Title, as the men that played and won this game 70 yrs ago are more relevant today than your insignificant opinions are.
Anyone that says what you did, never won a championship playing or coaching this game. Those of us that have done either or both? We respect the accomplishments of others because we know 1st hand how gaddamn hard and special they are.

The SB should be in Vegas every year. No worries about weather at all.
Why don’t we ever hear about a SB in Vegas? Think about it.
The problem is that the NFL wants to try to separate itself from gambling. BS! I have bet on NFL games for 20 years, and don’t fool yourself, the NFL loves it.
Why else do we all read the Sheridan odds?
