The Washington Redskins have announced that safety Reed Doughty has re-signed with the team.
Doughty, a sixth-round pick in 2006, had been tendered at the second-round level as a restricted free agent.
In 2009, Doughty appeared in 15 games with seven starts. For his career, he has started in 16 games.
