I realize that some had charges dropped, on both teams, but for you to say a criminal element hasn’t existed on the Packers, is dead wrong.
I wish I could give you the website, it lists all arrests for all teams back to 2000.
This is the 3rd time I’ve posted this, last time I didn’t put the link. I tried to give you a hint to look up the site, still a no go.
This is getting pretty pathetic.
I hope you’ll take my word for it on the arrest meter.

I’ll take your word, Chicken. Sounds legit. Although you have to admit that The Love Boat (by the way, Al and Alma’s Charter Service is nicknamed the Perkins on the Lake!) is about as bad as it gets. Both sides have had their share of turds. In the Packers case, they end up in some broads laundry hamper.

I absolutely agree with this. And I hope justice is served. If Jolly’s found guilty, I hope he gets what would be considered a normal sentence from the jury, and I hope the league hits him as well.
I haven’t seen anyone argue that he’s innocent in this thread. But there’s a pretty big difference between a guy who hasn’t been to trial yet and two guys who were caught red-handed and suspended, appealed the suspension and lost, sued and lost, and are appealing again.
We know the Williamses had Bumetanide in their systems. We don’t know if Jolly will be found guilty of the possession charge.
And for the record, I think he’s a turd whether the drugs were his or not. Just to be in that car he’s a turd.

Jolly’s day of facing the music, if there is any to be faced, is always being moved back by judges, not by his own appeals. On the other hand the Shyster Wall keeps Fat and Kev from getting the suspensions which they should be preparing to serve – or actually should have served long ago. I’m just amazed that the land of 100,000 lawyers hasn’t filed suit trying to get at least one of Mini’s many championship choke jobs overturned in court. It would probably be their best chance ever to be “Champions.”

Texas has some strange laws when codeine is available many places over the counter. Most notably in cough syrup.
Charges were already dismissed previously in this matter. The guy was one of four occupants of vehicle where codiene was found.
None of the 3 has accepted a plea deal to testify against the others is an indication the case very weak.
Since the NFL obviously does not ban codeine as a substance, this really is not news. He did not have codeine in his system.
In no way is this comparable to the multiple suspensions of vikings defensive players Edwards and Henderson for steroid abuse, the upcoming suspensions of the Williams DT’s for steroid masking, and Jared Allen’s substance abuse suspension.

Question for the resident lawyer..
Hear rumblings that in the same stop that nabbed Jolly, there was another passenger that got picked up on a gun charge.. basically possession.
That charge got kicked by the judge because of the legitimacy of the stop, from what I hear.
My question.. how can they carry this trial forward when another charge from the same stop gets kicked because of the stop itself?
Also.. can you confirm any of the above via your relationships in the legal community?
That said.. I still hope the NFL hands down a 4 game rip at the minimum.. maybe wake up this giant.

Due process means he gets his day in court, I would save labeling him a criminal until they can first get a conviction.
The Williams were busted in an authorized protocol of drug testing, no ifs, and or buts. Except for the state court judge who doesn’t like to see the Vikings actually have to live up to the consequences but the delays have only hurt the Vikings in the karma department.
