I won’t speak to whether or not he can come back and ever play with his back issues, but anyone who doesn’t think Shawn Andrews was a top TOP tier young OL before the injury is delusional. He certainly does not “suck.” He is a badass cut down before he even got to reach his potential, which woulda been SOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome for the birds, frankly/sadly.

Why no mention of their second round pick, Bernard Williams? Or their later round picks in Leonard Renfro or Mike Bellamy?
He’ll last just as long as it takes for his salary to become guaranteed, not a minute longer.

Poor guy. Give him a break, guys. He had elite talent and potential but his back injuries and the depression (possibly linked to some kind of spinal chord issue caused by his back injuries) ended his career prematurely. Sad to see a guy flame out because of something hardly under his control.
