Again all I hear are a bunch of NO WOMEN getting let me invade another team’s blog bunch of pussies. You know nothing about football; you speak a lot of unsolicited rhetoric just because you need attention and bad attention is still attention. Some of us come to OUR TEAMS website to get insight from true knowledgeable Brown’s fans and all wet get are a bunch of messages from cats that can’t spell and wine like they know football or gay ass cats that have nothing better to do than visit other teams sites to try in start a fire. I have middle schools children that don’t do dumb shyt like that.

So True Brown’s Fans:
Harrison, Davis, Hardesty and Hillis will be dominate, Delhomme will keep the seat warm and play great this season since he will be protected we just need him to teach these young receviers how to play from a QB’s perspective.

My question is this, Did Jerome Harrison not get the memo that when Jamal Lewis tried to play hardball he got outright cut from the team ?(said he was going to retire when the team was horrible but changed his mind when the guys that took his spot outplayed him and lead to 4 straight wins)
They drafted James Davis last year correct?
They drafted Hardesty this year right?
They traded for Peyton Hillis this off season as well, and got Chris Jennings from a bar and still have Cribbs and Wallace who can also play that spot.
To me it seems, Harrison doesn’t have a leg to stand on in those negotiations.

I was on a roll, and felt obligated to point out to Brownsfn that he shouldn’t talk crap about another team when his favorite team has consistenty sucked for years. He constantly posts idiotic comments on Bears stories without offering much insight. I have to remind him that the Bears have at least made a SB appearance and won the division a few times in the past eight years.

Since the birth of the franchise…I don’t quite understand your point, you approve of the notion that the inmates should run the asylum?
EVERY NFL franchise should ALWAYS be in position to “send messages”. Especially when it comes to players trying to throw their weight around after half-assing it during previous camps/practices and only four games of proven play.

I think it’s funny people saying Harrison shouldn’t be holding out of OTAs to make a point about getting an extension because of how the team did last season. Two points. First, all of the camps so far have been voluntary. Demoting a player because he chose to not volunteer is just dumb. That’s like fining someone for not donating to the salvation army. Secondly, that nice run they had at the end of the season just happened to coincide with Harrison starting at RB and performing well on the field. So, while the team didn’t do much last season, they obviously did much better when Jerome was the starting RB. So, exactly what message are they sending…we’re willing to cut off our nose to spite our face? You don’t always redo every contract every time a player shows his talent, but Harrison wasn’t a highly drafted player, meaning that he’s probably not making a whole lot. If a player like that steps in, performs at a high level, and takes over the job, you do a new contract to reflect his change in status.

OMG! What a development! This news is incredible…a smallish but highly effective RB in the last few games of an awful season doesn’t get to play with the first team in a June OTA and the team is actually looking at their 2nd Round Draft Pick instead! Could his future be over with the Browns? What about his contract?

Hardesty is going to be a player. Wouldn’t be at all surprised if he emerges as the best RB of this draft class. Browns should have a good 1-2 punch in Hardesty and Harrison.

Thank you for pointing out the many additions the new front office has made. They also added a top ten pick at CB and a top 2nd rnd. pick at safety, were they had a WR playing at the end of last season. Those moves, along with the Sheldon Brown trade, the veteran LBs, and the development of the young LBs, should make the defense much better. As for Hardesty taking 1st team reps – someone has to, and from what I’ve seen of this guy that’s not a bad thing at all – he runs just like Thomas Jones.

Went to a Cleveland Gladiators AFL game this past weekend.
Had a score with :14 left in the forth to put them up.
The Chicago Rush went coast to coast on the return and won it.
New and creative ways to loose hre in Cleveland is an art form.
Sure… sit Harrison down and punish him.
Cut the players that are not there while your at it.
(they were only showcasing players under contract… i get it).

Is it really a demotion if Hardesty is the only friggin guy there to take the snaps? How is it sending a message? What were they gonna do, have the QB hand off to air until the coaches called for second teams to trot out onto the field?
