High ankle sprain is confirmed for Ed Wang

Though the Bills are saying nothing about the injury suffered to rookie offensive lineman Ed Wang, we’re told that an MRI has confirmed the initial diagnosis.

Per a league source, Wang has a high ankle sprain.

At first blush, some feared a serious knee injury that would knock him out for all of the 2010 season.

He’s expected instead to miss the remainder of Organized Team Activities, and to be ready to go once training camp opens.

  1. When Ed mentioned he wanted to be a correspondent of the NFL to China and vice versa and wanted to gain media attention for being who he is, I don’t think he meant people should write five articles on his high ankle sprain. An injury that the average Joe doesn’t even understand.
It’s also been shameful how racist people are and how the only jokes people think of were already written by South Park, or contain remarks of the phallic nature.
Really sad. Future doesn’t look bright, original, or funny.

  2. What makes this story so funny is that wang is a synonym for penis in many cultures.

Wang-Chung……………..why aren’t all of you laughing?

Bowe’s catch phrase must really be “catching” on if PFT commenters are using it!

Not sure I’ve seen any racist jokes about this guy. Only phallic ones. Perhaps when you come down off your high horse you could mingle with the commoners a little?
In any case, there’s nothing worse than a sprained Wang.

  9. Ed Wang has a few weeks of “high ankle sprain” and it gets tons of type.
I’ve had 22 years of unalleviated “high angle strain” and no one cares.
