Police charge Reggie Wayne's ex-girlfriend with theft and fraud

A woman who allegedly charged nearly $93,000 to the credit cards of Colts receiver Reggie Wayne has surrendered to authorities, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Natasha McKenzie, 26, faces charges of theft and fraud.

In one year, she allegedly used the cards to obtain $60,000 in cash and $35,000 in services.

Wayne filed a theft report in April.

McKenzie has claimed that Wayne knew about the activity.  It’s possible that the problem arose only after Reggie Wayne’s wife became aware of the activity.

  1. It’s funny how short term memory loss kicks in when you’re married.
Hope it works out for Reggie.

  2. I don’t feel sorry for this chump. He got caught cheating, and it cosat him $93,000. It cost Kobe Bryant $4 million.

  3. “I don’t understand these invoices Reggie, I haven’t fit into a size 8 in years….”.

  4. While McKenzie said in a radio interview, that Reggie knew about the transactions, she told the police a different story.
“The suspect has been interviewed by our detective and has made admissions to using the card numbers without authorization,” the IMPD spokesman said.
So maybe Florio, you should put aside your Colts hatred.

  5. its funnier that florio is reporting TMZ style about reggie waynes home life……..unless he was catching footballs before during or after filing the police report nobody cares….or more fitting unless its about him on the field running the wrong route nobody cares

  6. Reggie can have a little talk with his old buddy Marvin if he just wants the situation to all go away…

After Reggie had a little talk with her, the story changes. Imagine that.
Who doesn’t notice $93,000 in unauthorized charges over a period of a year? I say Reggie got busted by the missus, and has to make it look good to save his sorry ass.

  8. it seems more and more everyday that the nfl is turning into a hollywood type org, being followed around to see who sleeps with who,and how much money they spend on mistresses, well i for one dont give a crap,if i were a colt fan and wayne needs to have 6 girlfriends, but still puts up greaat numbers, who cares, whaever he has to do,i dont care about these athletes personal lives, just let me know if one of my players gets suspended for something stupid, then i will care

  9. I bet he’s paying for her lawyers. And she’s probably got a nice chunk of change coming for taking the fall for this. Stay classy, Reggie.

  10. Why do young millioniares continue to marry?
The NFL ought to make Tom Leykis mandatory daily briefings.

  11. Can someone explain to me how this is pro football talk?? I hate this espn age when everything that involves anything that may have to do with some connection to an athlete is sports news. ITS BS

  12. “It’s possible that the problem arose only after Reggie Wayne’s wife became aware of the activity.”
It’s also possible that the McKenzie did what she’s accused of doing.
If your “sources” say or evidence suggests that Reggie Wayne filed the report only after his wife found out about it then sack up and say that. Otherwise, why drag the man’s name through the mud with baseless speculation?
