Maclin among Eagles sidelined with injury

The Philadelphia Eagles’ No. 1 wide receiver, DeSean Jackson, is staying away from organized team activities to handle some personal business, and now their No. 2 wide receiver is off the practice field as well.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Jeremy Maclin is sitting out today’s organized team activities with an unspecific injury.

Maclin is in attendance, but he’s off to the side working with the Eagles’ strength and conditioning staff.

Per the Inquirer, the other Eagles nursing injuries are linebacker Stewart Bradley (calf), running back LeSean McCoy (ankle), guard Todd Herremans (foot), center Jamaal Jackson (knee), tackle Fenuki Tupou (pectoral muscle) and defensive end Victor Abiamiri (knee).

    In my medical opinion…
Maybe the problem is we’re coddling these guys too much. What are they? A bunch of pansies?
Let’s hope Sad Andrews “depression” is not contagious. That poor, rich, rich man…

Is Kolb passing, handing off to and protecting himself?
I hear he’s good at playing with himself…hahaha

Sounds like there was a team shower post practice and Andy Reid hopped in naked causing everyone to run out in a frenzy, tripping over each other and injuring themselves.
Surprised you didn’t know about that beforehand and jump in with them Mike.

Compared to you I’m sure they are, hero. So coddling is the problem. Super – let’s hear your solution.

Great point Doc, b/c depression is a laughing matter. Except the Eagles released Shawn Andrews in March, so the “contagious” comment doesn’t really apply. And neither Andrews nor depression had anything to do w/ this story.
I’m beginning to wonder if you’re really a doctor after all…

So their #1 and #2 Wr are out, and so is their #1 RB. Who’s going to shoulder the load now? “Butter Fingers” Baskett? Kolb to Baskett for 2 yards. Go go 5-11 season.

LMAO LMAO People are panicking in friggin June? LMAO Be easy all these will be fine before preseason. Sheesh if you guys are panicking now we might have to have suicide watch in august! I still say some stumbles along the way but 9-7 or 10-6 at best case scenario. GO BIRDS!

Man, what are they gonna do in that game next week??? I mean, without our no.1 reciever (who is not out with injury mind you) AND our no. 2 IN THE BEGINNING OF JUNE??? Might as well write off this season, I mean, there is NO WAY a pro athlete can overcome some OFF-SEASON soreness in 2 MONTHS…..right?

It is only OTA’s and I’m not really worried, but seriously who is the conditioning coach?

It’s not like Kolb is going to hit him with a pass this season. Take your time Nancy.

Sad Andrews got $20+ million guaranteed as well as base salaries of $5 mill a year for missing 14 games 2 years in a row. I think with all that money he’d be able to go to the doctor and get some prozac so he could sleep on top of his pile of money with all his semi attractive women. Maclin should be fine, he just needs to get Kevin “corn on the Kolb” to throw him the ball.
