Brandon Marshall says he feels fine

After returning to the practice field today, Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall said he feels good and is ahead of schedule in his recovery from hip surgery.

“I am just a little bit ahead of schedule,” Marshall said. “I feel fine right now.”

Marshall said he was happy to be catching passes from quarterback Chad Henne, rather than just standing on the sideline and watching his fellow receivers.

“It’s good,” Marshall said. “It makes you feel a part of the team. When you are on the sideline, just watching and getting mental reps kind of sucks a little bit. It feels good to run out there a little bit.”

Marshall declined to go into details about how soon he can pronounce himself 100 percent, citing coach Tony Sparano’s policy of not getting into specifics about injuries. But he repeated several times that he’s ahead of schedule and feeling good.
