Broncos sign Perrish Cox

The Denver Broncos have announced the signing of cornerback Perrish Cox, their fifth-round draft pick.

Cox, who played at Oklahoma State, was a finalist for the Thorpe Award for college football’s best defensive back and was a first-team All-Big 12 cornerback as a senior in 2009. He’s also an excellent return man, with four kickoff return touchdowns and two punt return touchdowns in his college career.

Cox’s draft stock may have dropped when he was suspended from the Cotton Bowl for violating an undisclosed team rule.

Champ’s replacement in 2 years. The kid can ball.
Hopefully Cox is able to get his act together because he has the potential to become a force at CB with his size and speed combo.
