Lets see…. Rodgers says Kornheiser was unprepared and the interview was a waste of time…. so he is thin-skinned.
Rodgers is a stats QB and should win a playoff game before “complaining”….. he QB’d the team to 45 points…. if the Pack played any defense whatsoever they win.
I live in DC… TK is highly rated, but I find him boring. He uses the same jokes..”you could get him for a ham sandwich”… and he has been living off the stupid Redskins “Bandwagon” Post articles for decades. He basically reprinted the same article week after week. Just because he gets good ratings doesn’t mean he’s good… lots of people watch Pro Wrestling too.

Competent professional feature writers do their homework so they have a base of knowledge from which to ask their, um, “feature-y” questions. Kornheiser’s problem isn’t that he goes for the human-interest angle. It’s that he doesn’t do his homework and doesn’t know his subject. Any commenter on PFT could have asked Rodgers “So what’s it like replacing Favre?” Guys like Kornheiser are expected to come up with something that demonstrates a little more depth and insight.

I believe TK resigned from monday night football. He wasn’t fired for Gruden as you imply.
I love Jon Gruden as a coach, but he is an awful announcer. I would rather have Feature-y things than Gruden saying how much he likes every player. He is like a kindergarden teacher, high on weed, who just discovered lucky charms.

I was so relieved when Kornheiser was gone from MNF. There were 3 things that bugged me 1) Was when I do believe Dwayne Wade was in the Booth and Kornheiser asked Wade on National TV asked for comp tickets to a game. 2) The way he fawned over Brett Farve’s wife when she made an appearance in the TV Booth. 3) Was his inane interjections to the game as well as him being fairly unknowledgeable about the game. I was so happy that I did not have to hear him anymore on TV

Jaws and Kornheiser are at the top of their profession? I don’t think so. Al Michaels, John Madden, Chris Berman, even Joe Buck. That’s the top of their profession. They’re not even close. Hell, Jaws isn’t even Troy Aikman.
I never said your were a Vikings fan. I was taking off on your screen name. And I was busting your chops because you made a value judgment as if it were a matter of fact.
You did the same thing in your reply.

I think Kornheiser is sometimes funny, but I’ve never found him to have much insight when it comes to football. And by that I mean the actual game. He’s great if you want a joke about some player’s girlfriend, though.
That Aaron Rodgers hasn’t arrived yet I agree. Two years is not enough, but he’s had two great years, the team is in place, and I think if you asked the scouts who has the most upside of any QB I think he’d be top five, probably top three.
I think that’s a little higher up in his profession than Kornheiser and Jaws.
Hope you enjoyed your cornflakes. Oh yeah, um, I wouldn’t eat any Cheerios tommorrow morning either.

Who cares what Rodgers thinks / says? It’s a free country. However, TK is way more interesting and still the f’in man. The TK Show on 980 is the best talk show on radio (and probably TV too). Find it on iTunes podcast…you’ll thank me later.
Can’t stand anything ESPN except for the TK radio show. Even PTI and Wilbon suck too.

Did PULL&SEAL watch the same 2 Packers/Vikings games that the rest of us watched last year? From what I saw, the only thing the Vikings would be scared of is a “wrongful death” suit if something were to happen to poor AR when the Vikings keep sacking his sorry ass. Packer fans, before you get your inside-out undies in a bunch, all of us will grant you that AR is a great stats qb, but until he wins a few division titles, just a few playoff games and perhaps at least one SB he will only go down in the books as another Archie Manning (don’t mistake that with either Peyton or Eli).
