The Jets have recently taken to calling the New Meadowlands Stadium “Jets Stadium” which is sorta hilarious, petty, and very Jets-like.
As mentioned in Josh Alper’s one-liners, the website AshleyMadison.com would like to give the new stadium an even more ridiculous name. The dating site for adulterers offered the Giants and Jets a $25 million naming rights fee for the next five years, and offered to match any superior offer.
We could give you more details, but what’s the point? This is clearly a publicity stunt reminiscent of the Cardinals’ dalliance with Pink Taco a few years back.
Which reminds me: it’s time for lunch.
