Harbaugh expects "very motivated" Terrell Suggs

The Ravens are paying outside linebacker defensive end Terrell Suggs over $10 million a year, so they have the right to expect more than the 4.5 sacks he produced in 2009.  Or, at least, to expect him to rebound with a big follow-up offseason.

“Him not being at the OTAs, we’ll just have to see how he comes back to training camp,” said coach John Harbaugh.  “But I would expect a very motivated Terrell Suggs in training camp.”
Harbaugh is going easy on Suggs at this time, but we’ve got a feeling things will be a lot different if Suggs reports to training camp and/or the season out of shape, like he did last year.
There’s got to be some concern in the Ravens’ building that Suggs has packed it in since signing his $62.5 million extension last July.

he’s been to the voluntary offseason conditioning programs in march and all the mandatory workouts. I’m not concerned I know Suggs has too much pride in himself to not rebound from a subpar performance.

Suggs: I have gotten paid, now I can be the asshole that I really am!
Ravens: Don’t forget Chris McCalister! You have got to do better than last year!

Suggs is a piece of garbage….a waste of money…..Ravens got duped on this one!

I doubt he will be very motivated. He reminds me of Albert Haynesworth who got his money and decided to stop coming to any team functions.

Why did you strike outside linebacker and write defensive end? He’s the pass rush OLB in the 3-4.

    Straight cash homey

Why keep doing the Outside Linebacker/Defensive End thing? He plays outside linebacker in a 3-4, Multiple D. He wanted to paid like a Defensive end in a 4-3–b/c he rushes the passer like one…

    He’s a douche…

Probably using Jamarcus Russell for his personal trainer…
Good luck with that one, Baltimorons.

You Willis McGahee hasnt shown up to the OTA’s either. Is he about to get traded? Or is he just holding out?
I hate the offseason. Alls people do is overanalyze and blow everything out of proportion.

Harbaugh should throw some Bleach on him… that might motivate this loser.

Sizzle will shine this year with the rest of the defense just like everyear. He never reported to ota’s the previous years. His numbers would have been better last year had quinn the eskimo not chopblocked him.

    @ArtModell’sPimp
How are the browns doing? Are they going to win a half dozen games between the next two seasons? Ozzie thanks the Pimp and the Baltimorons every day for delivering him from your mistake of a city. Can you say “Super Bowl”? “Win a Playoff Game”? How about “multiple pro-bowlers”? Didn’t think so.

WRONG.. He’s the prototype hybrid. They even tagged him accordingly in the past. Not sure why this is pissing me off, just get it right before trying to correct others okay?

Reed Hof 20 said it best…..took the words out of my mouth. It should be illegal for cleveland browns fans to post on any comments anywhere about other football teams. They are historically bad.

  18. golongboyee says: Jun 11, 2010 10:42 AM

Browns fans are so insanely jealous of the ravens it is not even funny…….that is why they post.
It took Baltimore 4 years to take a pathetic franchise that didn’t even have cap space for a practice squad and turn them into a SB champ with arguably the greatest defense of all time…and over the lat 15 years one of the top organizations in the league..hey, I would be jealous and angry too
The NFL should have never gone back to Cleveland with another Browns-tain team, LA would have been better.
