Money changed hands between Brandon Underwood and his alleged victims

The potential case against Packers cornerback Brandon Underwood has sprung yet another gigantic leak.

Per Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, police have confirmed that money changed hands between Underwood and the two women who have claimed that he sexually assaulted them.

Police released the information in response to reports that Underwood could be charged with soliciting prostitution.  The prosecutor could make the final decision regarding possible charges by early next week.

Meanwhile, the Press-Gazette has posted a link to the 911 call.  It was made by a man who said that a woman in a car seemed to be “in trouble.”

According to previous reports, one of the women stole money from Underwood while the other woman was, um, meeting with him.  They both then were kicked out of the condo where several Packers players stayed the night.  So it could be that they never really intended to cry rape, but that they needed to explain themselves to police and opted to accuse someone of a crime in lieu of possibly admitting to the commission of one.

I can’t decide if it makes him more of a scum if tried paying for it.

What is the world coming to when you can’t trust a hooker?

What’s the benefit in lying about sexual assault to get someone caught for soliciting prostitution when you were the prostitute?
Is there not any consequence for falsely crying rape?

Something tells me Brandon Underwood will not be playing some games this year.
The question is some games or all games – it looks like all of them.

The only reason prostitution is a crime in Wisconsin is because it is against the law to charge for something that is otherwise given away “free” within the state.

  6. Calistin says: Jun 10, 2010 8:53 AM

Yeah they are strippers, he hired them to come back for an “after hours” private show. That would be my defense.
Gonna be awfully hard to prove they money was for a specific sex act, seeing as the victim has zero credibility.
Plea deal, no suspension, shame on you Brandon Underwood. You better show something on the field for this black eye you’ve given the Packers.
Bring the hypocrytical drivvle Queen fans, your jealous tears of rage fuel my laugher. Please come up with something different than your last 5 posts on this topic. Packers are all thugs, drugdealers, Wisconsin is a state of fat pigs blah blah blah.
I suppose hoping for the Vikings to show any class or at the worst, originality, will be as long a wait as their drool on the shoes fanbase has been waiting for a championship.

I hope the Packers supsend him prior to Goodell even getting involved. A crime was committed and he should face the consequences.
The Packers want to avoid being seen as the Vikings currently are, enablers who protect their players from the NFL behind state court rulings.

Prostituion is legal in Nevada. Idiots just catch a flight to Vegas and if you are really a big loser and can’t get laid in Vegas just take a free limo ride 45 minutes for legal hookers.
Honestly if you have money you will have no issue in Vegas, unless you look like Rapistburger than you might as well head straight to Pahrump.

Who said money changed hands? Was it the strippers? The same strippers that accused him of rape and later backtracked? Seeing as they have ZERO credibility, I doubt this goes anywhere.

You always pay for it oneway or another. Handing your wife the pay check taking the g/f out to dinner ect. Its never free if you don’t hand that check over the wife says no and thats that so tell me how any sex is free

First, the stay classy line has been spent. Carry on.
Second, how in the world, outside of an admission by Underwood, are they going to make the solicitation charge stick? Almost 0% chance. I can see it now….prosecution, you may call your first witness. The prosecution calls stripper/whore #1 to the stand….fabulous.

  27. purpleguy says: Jun 10, 2010 10:31 AM

I think the authorities still have the facts wrong. Based upon the quality of the women in Wisconsin, are they sure the women didn’t pay Underwood to have sex with them?

Sounds like the girls just stole the money, and that’s how money “changed hands”. Everyone was so quick to condemn Underwood when this first came out, but as the girls continue to change their story, it looks more and more like Underwood just had a one night stand with two girls. Sounds like two women grasping at straws, trying to pin something on Underwood. All we know for sure is that he cheated on his wife, and everyone’s out for his head on accusations from liars. Put the ‘jump to conclusions mat’ back in the closet fellas.

  30. ronshanklin says: Jun 10, 2010 11:15 AM

Well, well….what a familiar chant I am hearing. “shouldn’t take the word of a prostitute,” “he wasn’t charged with anything,” bla bla bla. So much different than giving credence to the word of a drunk sorority chick. Or any sorority chick for that matter. I invite everyone to log on to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette and view the now available DVD interview with Big Ben’s accuser….any moron can figure out this beeatch is winging it as she goes along. However, Adolf Goodell must suspend Underwood, if not for any other reason than to save face. Ben wasn’t charged with anything but was still suspended, Underwood must be suspended, period. No chances, no mercy. The same way Ben was given none. Not saying he is not an idiot. But if Mein Kampf doles out this kind of punishment for suspicions, rumors and allegations, he needs to do it across the board.

Absolutely the dumbest 9-1-1 person on the planet.
This is type of person that gets hired to run this type of job. God forbid it had been someone, anyone, lying in a ditch half-dead and this idiot at the 9-1-1 center has never heard of the street they were on (even after being told the name 6 times), OR even the resort where the incident took place at. Or her equally clueless friend.

If you pay it’s harder to cry rape. Everyone knows the credibility of a hooker is crap. Hooking up with chicks in the bar is a crap shoot. Hell in Wisc. you might end up w/ a dude.

How did a topic involving a Packers player sexual assualt case turn into an anti-Viking thread?
Regardless, I’d recommend that Underwood talk to Mark Chmura, I’m sure he can provide some tips. ;)
