That all you got joetoronto? Tired BS and childish family bashing? About as ridiculous as saying that PATS are heading to the dumpster because a knucklehead guard is letting his agent screw him. Yup, team lost Tom Brady in the 1st quarter 2 years ago and still won 11 games and the next year won the division again with a ton of looses/injuries, again. Sounds like a pretty solid team to me.

He needs to cut out the cancer he has – better known as his agent. These buttholes need to stop thinking about how much their cut is going to be and focus on the welfare of the player.
If indeed Logan has just turned into a “it’s all about the money” kind of guy, then don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
But if he wants to be on a contending team and be around guys that will make him and his stats that much better (won’t happen anywhere else, look at Law, Milloy, Branch and others who thought they were more than the team) then STFU and sign moron.
These athletes don’t know how good they have it and the agents they have are more clueless than they are.

Logan has pissed on the Patriots. They’ll don’t take negotiations public! Now a story comes out that he had a significant offer on the table!
Tells me the Front Office is fighting back! The other problem for Logan is he really doesn’t have any leverage! Something his brain dead agent should’ve told him.
1. He can’t be dealt until he signs his tender!
2. He could sit out but, then he wouldn’t accrue enough time to fullfil his last year.
3. He would have to play for 1.5 mil. at least 10 games to receive credit for this year!
4. He sits out, there’s no agreement on the CBA and next year he’d still be Patriot property.
I don’t see that he can win in the situation? Going public is the worse thing he could’ve done!
Based on past history, the Patriot Front Office will hunker down and nothing will get done. He’ll have to play for the 1.5 mil., His only smart move is to shut up, play out the contract and then become an UFA. Too bad he’ll only make 1.5 mil…this year? 150K before takes based on 10 games, for a season credit.
As I’ve said in the past, we live in the real world of minimal raises and an economy that’s in bad shape. We don’t have any leverage either. Welcome to the real world Logan!

Logan Mankins is maybe the best guard in the NFL. A great player no question. Good guy in the community and a good family man. Now I don’t know how the Pats’ offer was structured but it seems pretty reasonable. So Logan’s outburst makes me think his agent already has a couple of offers significantly better than what he has on the table and that mystery team has indicated that he should try to position himself for a trade. I don’t think the Pats would get a 1st and 3rd round picks for him as that was the compensation if any team signed him to an offer sheet. So we know Logan wants the better offer the question is who is this “mystery team” that is willing to pay him more $$$$ and how much are they willing to trade for him? This is going to get interesting.
