As it turns out, it’s a good afternoon to be named Myron.
Not long after the Bucs announced that they’ve reached a deal with third-round cornerback Myron Lewis, a league source tells us that the Titans have struck a deal with sixth-round safety Myron Rolle.
Rolle, a Rhodes Scholar who has faced questions regarding his commitment to football, played a Florida State before taking a year off to study in England.
We’re told that it’s a four-year deal, presumably featuring minimum base salaries and a slotted signing bonus.
And so on the same day the Titans are dealing with the aftermath of the most recent incident involving arguably one of the dumbest players in the league, they’ve formalized their relationship with one of the smartest.
