No matter what, both sides will come out firing to the media about how the other side is the devil and all that…thinking that they are making themselves look good when all they are doing is making everyone in the public hate both sides even more

Everytime there is a strike in any industry jobs are lost. Its never a pretty thing. Yet, who DOESNT lose their jobs?? The Union leaders. Sure a few of the lower ranking suckers lose their jobs but hey its all for the greater good…. Without unions, the greater risk is that NFL players lose all of their power. There will never be the NFL without a players union ever again.

Unions are inherently corrupt and it is high time Americans wake up and not rest until the last union is put down like a sick horse.
Seriously folks. Are you people that obtuse and naive? When was the last instance you saw a union involved in a business that really exploits the workers, for which unions were once known for fighting for – I’m talking the $8-10 an hour jobs??? Answer: Probably over 50 years ago; because there’s no money in it for union leaders. It’s all an entire sham and so many reason-challenged individuals are being hoodwinked.
I can’t think of anything more un-American than a modern-day labor union.

He possibly could, read Fike Mlorio’s post again,

That makes a whole lot of sense. That’s how people like De Smith roll, he will use the Obama administration as an instrument of plunder if needed. To people like Obama and De Smith who subscribe to Saul Alinsky’s “Rules For Radicals” the end justifies the means, whatever the cost.

I agree with birdmancometh. I am not an Obama supporter but what does he have to do with any of this. Let’s not make this into something it is not. The next thing you with say it is racial and one side is out to get the other because of the color of their skin.

If there is a lockout the union will get most of the blame. One would think they would realize that and work a bit more with the NFL to get things done.
