The move has yet to be be announced by the team. But Steelers third-round draft pick, wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, wrote via Twitter on Monday night that he’s signed with the team.
“It’s official!!!!!!!! Ya boy is a Pittsburgh Steeler!!! Signed-seeled the re deal. Can’t wait to earn every cent plus more!!!!” Sanders wrote.
(That’s 15 exclamation points, which means it’s official.)
Sanders is a fast player from SMU that won’t be asked to do much as a rookie at a deep position for Pittsburgh. But the Steelers have done a good job developing wideouts recently (Limas Sweed excluded), so he’s a player to keep an eye on.
