I was all for trading him before the draft and get something for him, but at this point, and with his actions, I have no trouble holding on to him, sitting his butt on the bench all year if need be to teach him a lesson. Want to sit out the season? Well, no problem, but we will be recouping a good chunk of that signing bonus and the April bonus too!

It would be much easier to jump on the bandwagon and rip Haynesworth, if it weren’t for the fact that Dan Snyder is such a tremendous douche bag, that I for one enjoy seeing this bite him in the ass.

Haynsworth turning out to not be worth the money does affect guys like Dockett directly. Instead of lifting the position up like an elite player and contract tends to, he made it less likley for the next guy to get a similar deal. If they would just create some sort of wage scale instead of a wild west style cash grab then there would not be so much player hating over money.

I agree with Dock. For that kind of money, I’d play on both sides of the ball until they wheeled me off to the oxygen cart.
I wanted to give Fat Albert the benefit of the doubt and hope that it was just laziness keeping him from the OTAs. But clearly, he has not changed a lick. Ihope Dan, the League and all the attorneys involved will find a way to take back as much of that money as possible and keep his lardship out of the NFL permanently. He is just a bad citizen.

They should all be pissed because all this does is make teams more reluctant to hand out big money deals. In the end though, the NFL will always have teams like the Redskins that just do not get it so the players will be OK. But I would be pissed.
