Harbaugh: Ravens will sign Hamlin, Harris or Lucas

A week ago the Ravens brought in veteran free agent defensive backs Ken Hamlin, Walt Harris and Ken Lucas for a tryout, and although none of them signed, coach John Harbaugh expects one -- or more -- of them to join the team before training camp.

“I think we’ll sign at least one of those guys,” Harbaugh said on WBAL, per the Baltimore Sun. “We’ll be watching that waiver wire pretty closely because there may be some teams that have to relieve themselves of some budget issues and let a corner go. So, we’re going to look at all of those options. We want to be as strong as we can at corner.”

The Ravens could use some help in the secondary, with safety Ed Reed and cornerbacks Fabian Washington and Lardarius Webb all recovering from injuries.

Hamlin started 12 games for the Cowboys in 2009. Harris missed all of 2009 after tearing his ACL in the offseason, but he started all 16 games for the 49ers in 2008. Lucas was a backup with the Seahawks in 2009.
