Check out the podcast here http://whatthebuc.net It's a recording of the season ticket Q&A. Dominick is taking questions and I'm pretty sure he had to have seen the recorder. Glazer money "issues" aside people need to give Dominick and and Raheem a break. They've had one year under hamstrung conditions. When they've made a mistake they don't hesitate to correct it. And no one is giving them credit for what they have done right. You have to give them at least the length of their contracts.

How come nobody ever points to the Bucs failure to sign Haynesworth as something they did right? Fat Albert said the Bucs actually offered him more money to play in Tampa, and I believe that even though everybody and their momma will tell you the team won’t spend money… but I also believe that the Bucs didn’t offer nearly as much in terms of a signing bonus and they protected themselves better than the Redskins did… which is why Fat Albert is in DC. Al pretty much retired the moment he put his signature on his contract and that was all he was ever looking for.

Wow, what an idiot we have here! Crowell was never cut, he was put on IR, he was re-signed this offseason but never cut. Brooks was cut… and no other team has picked him up… that might say something. Considering Crowell was signed to play the Sam and Brooks was a Will… how do you figure he was signed to take Brooks’ spot?

sethness… exactly what other decisions has Dominik made that puts him on par with Millen? He just (maybe, IF the story is even true) made his first gaff. By all accounts, he aced the draft this year, and didn’t do half bad last year based on one year of assessment. When did Millen do THAT?
The general consensus is that the Bucs had no choice but to go with youth last off-season, and I think that one 3-13 transition season is an inexpensive price to pay for the Bucs to be sitting where they are right now: chock full of young players (most of which are 4-6 years away from their prime), a low payroll (these guys will get more money when they get a little closer to that prime), & facing a lightweight schedule. There is a lot to be excited about this season in Tampa.
The key question that has yet to be answered for me and most Bucs fans has to do with coaching. But I feel very good about Dominik’s decisions thus far.
