“Enhanced season” enhances the divide between NFL and union

It’s supposed to be the sssslow period in the NFL. But, apparently, there’s never a sssslow period in the NFL.

And we’re fine with that.

Partially filling Wednesday’s news cycle? The first meeting between the NFL and the players’ union in nearly four months, followed by an all-out effort from the league to sell the media (and the public) on the merits of the “enhanced season,” which potentially could be sponsored by the folks at Enzyte.

We wrote about it yesterday, but we had some more stuff to add. And since my carpal tunnel is acting up, I decided to talk about it instead.
