Not sure why alot of you are saying “good riddance we have Eric Berry now” when Berry and Page don’t even play the same position. Without Page that leaves the Chiefs, more then likely, starting McGraw at FS. Like it or not until Lewis develops Page is the best FS on the team.

What a ridiculous organization mine once proud Chiefs have devolved into. egoli & hailme are as cluelsss a duo as has ever been seen – architects 16 losses in 2009 & well on their way to at least as many in 2010.
As a lifelong Chiefs fan I say “Stick you to your guns Jarrad.” As S Bernard Pollard proved last season, messers (not a typo) egoli & hailme are clueless – they’ve obviously learned notthing in the time since. Pollard is now an all-star caliber player for Houston. Meanwhile egoli & hailme – are well on their way another double-digit loss disaster. Until owner Hunt gets an competent GM & Head Coach, I’ll continue to laugh at the folly be my KC Chiefs. Good luck to you Jarrad and keep up the career ascent Pollard!
Both of you will be in the NFL long aft egoli & hailme have been removed the premises…

Because you’ll pay Atogwe several million dollars more per season, that’s why.
As for Page, he was handed the starting role by Werm Edwards as a 7th Rounder with Bernard Pollard and both of them let it go to their heads. They both are bad-attitude guys and not good for the Chiefs. Page won’t be in Kansas City playing this year, but that doesn’t mean they’ll deal or release him.
In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if he sat on the roster well into the season, and the Chiefs have no reason to do anything otherwise, unless someone will offer something for him. He’s played his last game in a Chiefs uniform, that’s for sure.
Lastly…the Chiefs are on the rise. Don’t be surprised if they win the AFC West this year.

Jarrad Page isn’t a household name, and he might not have had a great year last year, but you can’t hold him completely responsible. When you have the league’s worst pass rush, it tends to make the entire defense look bad. Who knows what he could do on a team that had more pieces in place?
