The Redskins have done a lot of offseason moves which were good. They beefed up the defensive line adding Adam Carriker, Vonnie Holliday and Maake Kemoatu. They also added Phillip Buchanan as the 3rd corner. On offense they added Donovan Mcnabb who is 33 not 50. They added Larry Johnson and Willie Parker as Clinton portis’s back-up’s. They drafted Trent Williams the 4th overall pick who will be a starting left tackle. They signed Artis Hicks in free agency who will likely be a right guard and they just signed Brown. I hardly think they have made minor moves that are crap. Also Mike Shanahan has 3 superbowl rings. His record is 146 wins – 95 losses he is 8-5 in the post season.

He’ll probably compete with Justin Tryon and Kevin Barnes for the 4th and 5th roster spots at CB. Potentially solid depth guy, but a tad limited. that said, with Hall/Rogers/Buchanon, the redskins were looking more for depth than anything.
A bit surprised at the release of Greg Peterson, but guess Haslett didn’t see enough to warrant him sticking around. Had always wondered if Greg was a better fit as a 5-technique than the 3-technique role that the Bucs had hoped he would develop into.
