The man San Diego drafted to replace Kevin Ellison at strong safety has signed his rookie deal.
Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that Darrell Stuckey agreed to terms with the Chargers. With Ellison now off the team, Stuckey shouldn’t have difficulty earning a starting job as a rookie.
A Kansas product, Stuckey made his mark as a wrap-up tackler that provides solid coverage skills.
