That didn’t take long.
The supposed Twitter account for Albert Haynesworth quickly was deleted Friday morning after ESPN’s Chris Mortensen did some sleuthing.
Not that we should have needed too much help. One of the fake account’s first messages: “i wonder if i search my name what will come up.”
The next time Albert Haynesworth cares about the opinion of football fans will be the first. He doesn’t exactly strike us as the self-reflective type.

I can not believe you guys actually thought that could be the real Haynesworth. …actually, I can believe it.
First glance, the rest of us knew it was fake though.
Mort is a great reporter, but got duped here. Fake Al listed himself as a Redskins NT. That’s like Chris Johnson listing himself as the guy with the $550,000 salary. C’mon man!

way to backtrack.
first yall were easily persuaded it was him b/c of a tweet that says ‘just thought i would made a twitter page’ …..(cause of the bad grammar??)
now, you’re saying you didnt need much help to figure out it was a fake b/c one of the first messages was “i wonder if i search my name what will come up.”
great investigative journalism.
Should have known that is was fake as soon as Mort said he was sure it wasn’t.
