NFL players always claim they’re innocent of wrongdoing, it’s always someone elses fault but yet the majority of NFL players don’t seem to get in trouble or make the headlines but it’s always the same bunch, guys like Ben Raper, Benson, Vick, Pacman, etc…..it’s becuz they don’t “get it”. If they were home instead of crusin’ the stribs and clubs, there’s a pretty good chance that trouble wouldn’t find them. Because they don’t get it and want to hang with their worthless hommies etc. they attract trouble like magnets…….goodell has to realize this and needs to put his foot on their throat. He has started out right with Ben Raper but he needs to make it a 6 gm suspension to help these worthless piece’s of human crap finally “get it.”

You hear anything about the Shawn Rogers thing recently? No? It’s because he is registered to carry a concealed firearm and the charges are going to evaporate. Since he doesn’t have any past charges, he is unlikely to face discipline. He wasn’t at a club waving a pistol or packing heat in a state where handguns are illegal.

Well lets see… This is the third time he has been arrested in Texas. The first two were summarily dropped do to innapropriate activity by the police. And this one they pursued without interviewing Benson, and an unusual 30 days after the fact for a misdemeanor. At a certain point Cedric you have to realize that the Police in Texas are after you, because you exposed them and made them look bad twice. Stay out of Texas!!! It’s not brain surgery here!!!!

You are a fool as your name indicates. What do you think this is, 3rd grade ?
This has nothing to do with Goodell. This is has been a standard clause in the CBA for many years. Yes, if you get arrested you are supposed to report this to the team. And if you get in an incident that may eventually result in your arrest I believe you have to report that whether you were initially arrested or not. It is part of the employment contract every NFL player signs.

The affidavit said the May 30 incident began at 1:50 a.m. when a fight began between Benson and an unknown person inside the bar. Club staff separated them, at which time Benson shoved a manager “in an attempt to continue the fight he was previously engaged in,” the affidavit said.
The affidavit said Benson spit blood from his injured lip at a bar employee.
Workers then asked Benson several times to leave.
“Benson refused, and was escorted out of the bar,” the affidavit said.
Outside, the affidavit said employees tried to prevent him from going back in. At that point, he punched “with his right fist to the left side” of an employee’s face, causing the employee to stumble backwards.
