Previous reports had indicated that former Texans guard Chester Pitts, an original member of the franchise, would conduct a workout for interested teams on July 15.
Apparently, that’s not going to be happening.
Tom Pelissero of 1500ESPN.com reports that the workout hasn’t been scheduled because Pitts is still recovering from microfracture surgery on his knee.
Pitts has visited the Seahawks, Lions, and 49ers. The Vikings and Eagles also reportedly are interested.
He started 114 games before suffering a knee injury last September.
