Report that Chris Johnson worked out at Titans facility is confirmed

Earlier today, we reported that running back Chris Johnson temporarily paused his boycott of all things Titan by recently working out at the team’s facility.

Johnson denied it.  “The rumors, those are lies,” Johnson said in a Ustream video.  “I haven’t been back to Tennessee since my [youth football] camp.”

So how is this impasse resolved?  Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that, indeed, Johnson worked out at Baptist Sports Park earlier in the week.

Most recently, Johnson showed up on Wednesday, two full weeks after his youth football camp.

It’s unclear why Johnson would choose to not be honest about the situation.

Well, now we know who reported Johnson’s workouts to PFT. Nice work, Agent Wyatt.

Florio exuding confidence after the fishing trip. The fish were tiny but he killed an 11 1/2 pound mosquito with his son’s baseball bat. Singlehandedly.

What is this the 1800’s? Why do morons think they can get away with blatant lies? Someone probably has pictures of him working out, walking into the building or whatever.
Next thing Johnson will claim is that he is a combat veteran from the Afgan war.

    Florio,
Why are you so obsessed with him working out at the facility?

“I haven’t been back to Tennessee since my [youth football] camp.”
Wrong. He has been back in Tennessee within the past week, and he spent at least two days working out at the team’s facility.
But what if he never left Tennessee after the youth camp ended, and just left recently? Would he be wrong then?
Just wondering, I don’t know to much about the situation.

Isn’t it common practice to confirm stories with at least 2 sources? We are to just believe Wyatt?
Wait a minute… dynasty said it best.

Who gives a (Marshall) Faulk if Chris Johnson is working out at Titans facilities? Why would you even write that!

  17. AlanSaysYo says: Jul 2, 2010 9:18 AM

Maybe he just thinks Tennessee is the name of the team, not the state. I’d believe that, looking at him.

    Hey bonecity7,
Acutally jackass, it’s called the “Latest News and Rumors”. What part of confirmed don’t you understand? Try reading, then comprehending the story. Florio is saying that Johnson did work out in Tennessee because of what Wyatt wrote. He is stating that we should now know that it’s true because of what Wyatt wrote. Are you still with me?
Don’t be so ignorant to think that everything posted here is purely rumor and speculation. As long as Florio continues to present himself as a real journalist then he can be called out for not acting like one.
