More than all us jet fans have to look forward to? The jets only got better. their run game will be just as dominant due to the offensive which is of the best in the game (yes, even without faneca), and their defense only got stronger. They went all the way to the afc championship last year, and this year, with an even better team, we have nothing to look forward to?? all u dolphin fans are the same.
and do me a favor the dolphins are far from heading in the right direction. they have a qb who has yet to prove himself and ricky williams who will be gone as soon as he make enough money to buy as much weed as he could besides the fact that in a year from now he’ll be done anyway

BKjetsfan101 – wow u make it seem like they jets have had success like the pats have had for years and years. U had one decent season and all you morons feel like you are gonna be the best thing ever and that the jets are gonna win it all this year. All I can say is remeber when Mangini came in and had some success after the first season…..all you a-holes could think about was how many SB victorys you were gonna have. At least I am a realest and dont think they Phins will win anything this year but at least they are young and headed in the rite direction…more then u idiot jet fans have to look forward to.

smithopher ok i feel you right, revis is good, really good! but i watched those games where he supposedly shut down the three wrs you named in your comment.. if you looked close enough the jets blitzed hard and the the safety shifted over the top of revis and the man he was covering. so please saying he shut them down. the safety was always on top to help. that being said he is one of the three best ASomugha Bailey are the other two.

Does anybody understand why Darrelle is so good? He gets thrown on way more than anybody and averages 3.5 yards per attempt, the guy is an animal. He plays single coverage on guys like Ocho Cinco, Randy Moss, Andre Johnson, etc… The QB is going to be baited into throwing at his best WR, but the truth of the matter is that most of those passes are defended by Revis. Asomugha doesn’t do the things Revis does. He doesn’t play in the same scheme. When he’s actually on man coverage he’s not playing on the #1 WR on the field, and when he does he’s got safety help over top. Revis is a monster, I dare anybody who actually knows football to really watch him play and say he isn’t a superior player. People can say whatever they want, the Jets are gonna be good this year. At least when the Jets open their mouths they back it up with an AFC Championship appearance. Where was your team that weekend?

With every penny guarenteed. Next year Nnamdi will be pullung just under 17 million per year. The Jets have a history of telling players that they are going to do this and that and in the end give them the shaft and they move on.
When you look at the number of times NFL QB’s threw the ball at Revis last year the NFL QB’s do not seem to shy away from him much. You would have to add all the ball throwed at Nnamdi during 2007, 2008 and 2009 to reach the number of times NFL QB’s threw at this kid in 2009 alone.
He is a good corner but the best?, no way. Nnamdi is a tackling machine and is good against the run. Many of the passes that are completed on Nnamdi and there are not many are for a loss or a couple yards.
They use to talk up Hall, when they put him across from Nnamdi and he had to play true man to man the QB’s lite him up like a Christmas Tree and made him look foolish. Revis may be good but is no Nnamdi and the Jets will never pay him the standard set in salary for a top man to man corner by Al Daivis.

Revis and Aso have two different styles of play. They’re both great cornerbacks. Revis doesn’t deserve 45.3M because Aso doesn’t either.
