Mike Vick admits “there never should have been a party”

The folks at FOX 29 bumped into Eagles quarterback Mike Vick today, as he was making his way out of the federal courthouse in Philly.

In the video, Vick is asked if he thinks he has been railroaded by the media in the wake of the shooting that occurred at his 30th birthday party.

Said Vick, “No, I haven’t been railroaded at all.”

Asked next about the infamous “All White” birthday bash, Vick was surprisingly candid. “There never should have been a party,” he said.

Apparently, however, there will be another one. FOX 29 reports that 3000 Ultra Bistro in Stone Mountain, Ga., is hosting “The Michael Vick Birthday Celebrity Golf Tournament.”

A shotgun start is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 11. Under the circumstances, they might want to come up with a different term for the manner in which the event will be launched.
