Kenny Smith tears Achilles tendon

Last with the Kansas City Chiefs, defensive tackle Kenny Smith won’t suit up for any team in 2010.

Smith’s agency ProStarSports wrote on Wednesday that Smith tore his Achilles Tendon while working out, which should knock him out for the 2010 season.

Smith, a third-round pick of the Saints back in 2001, was unsigned and this could prove to be a cruel ending to his nine-year career.

Another lineman suffers an achilles tendon injury?
PFT, maybe you should go back to the column by Collier that you used to stir the pot when he mentioned the Steelers might go 6-10 this year. The real gist of that article was that OTA’s are counter productive because big lineman should be given the offseason to rest and heal, rather than risk injury with unnecessary workouts.
