Jeremy Green arrested on child porn, drug charges

ESPN NFL analyst Jeremy Green has been arrested in Bristol, Connecticut, and charged with first-degree possession of child pornography, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia, the Hartford Courant is reporting.

Green, the 38-year-old son of former NFL coach Dennis Green, was arrested at a hotel near ESPN’s headquarters at about 5 p.m. Thursday and placed into custody on $750,000 cash bail.

Police did not release any more information about the arrest.

Green’s ESPN.com bio says he is director of pro scouting for Scouts Inc., an 11-year NFL scout and a former director of pro personnel for the Cleveland Browns.

Talk about someone riding on the coat tails of a famous father. This guy is completely devoid of any football knowledge. I listened to his podcast about 3 times just cuz I figured he can’t be this dumb. Every topic in the NFL that came up he answered “hmmm, Don’t care.” and then laughed like a complete maniac.
Guess his mind was in a different place. Like on 10 year olds.

Chumura, if you recall, was brought to trial and a jury found him “Not Guilty” That not the same as innocent but worthy of mention.
One cannot ignore the fact that Jeremy Green would never have been employed by ESPN if not for his father, a former head coach of the MN Vikings, those same Vikings that are responsible for coining such household phrases as; Loveboat, Whizanator, Starcaps & Superbowl ticket scapling.

You are not innocent until proven guilty. That only applies in the court of law. Commentors on a website are allowed to have an opinion without a judge or jury telling them what it has to be.
In the eyes of the law you are innocent until proven guilty. It would help if everyone used the entire “expression” and not just the last half.
The reality is you are guilty of the crime the moment you commit it. You are not gulity only when/if a court convicts you. The reverse is true also, if a court convicts you of a crime that in reality you did not commit. You are innocent.
So claim all you want that you dont feel we have enough information to assume he is guilty, and hope the arrest was a mistake. But stop with the inane comment “he is innocent until proven guilty.”
