Koren Robinson is North Carolina’s third-worst tax delinquent

Koren Robinson was a bust in the NFL and then couldn’t even hack it in the UFL, getting suspended by the upstart league for missing meetings. And now he has a problem of another kind.

The Charlotte Observer reports that Robinson owes $497,502 in taxes to the state of North Carolina, where he was born and raised and played college football at North Carolina State.

That total makes Robinson the third-worst tax delinquent in a state that has released a list of tax delinquents who owe a total of $841 million.

Robinson, who signed a $10.1 million rookie contract in 2001 and signed a $12.7 million free agent contract in 2006, could not be reached for comment.
