Funny how he just ignored both of my comments to him. He brags about ’95 and ’03 without knowing that the Browns lost to the Steelers in the playoffs both of those years, we beat them 3 times in ’95.
In the second post, I provided history with a link so he couldn’t accuse me of rewriting it. A link that shot down his version of Steeler history, yet nothing. Not a peep.

So, uh, yeah. I know you Steeler fans love to rewrite history and think that the only times in the NFL worth shit are the 70s and parts of the 90s/00s. It’s my pleasure to remind you of all the other times they *did* suck and how, like any other team, you can expect to experience a long bout of suckitude pretty much anytime now.
We aren’t rewriting history. I do suppose that you were little more than an itch in your daddy’s pants before the seventies arrived? Yes, the Steelers went from perennial door mats to one of the greatest teams in the history of football. But let’s not dwell on the past. Is your team on their schedule this year? I’ll be looking forward to that game.
Mr. Florio is like “Hercules Unchained!” when it comes to criticizing the Steelers. The amount of Coach Tomlin’s contract is already known and of course, Coach Tomlin is not responsible for Ben when Ben is off the playing field. Ben is a grown man who has to stop looking to the past when it comes to future relationships. College girls in a bar? There used to be a term for that when I was growing up. It’s called JAIL BAIT!

I’m a Browns fan. I don’t live in Cleveland now, but did for a long time.
I don’t respect the Steelers… at all. Six rings says it all? Nah.. to me, 4 of those rings say “We couldn’t have done it without steroids” and the other two say “We couldn’t have done it without the officials, Roone Arledge, and all the Rooneys NFL connections.”
Yep, that’s what those 6 rings say to me.
Every other team who has been to or won a Super Bowl or Championship? Totally legitimate (and that includes the Bengals and Ravens). The Steelers? Ehhh.. not so much.

No, sorry I don’t remember 1933 through about 1980. I do read history though, and I know the Steelers have more Super Bowl championships than any other team. My memory is short, but I don’t have to think back very far to the last team that’s won two titles in four years.

If the Rooneys start firing head coaches because they can’t “control” Ben Roethlisberger, Steeler nation is in big trouble.
I would much rather see Ben go than Tomlin, if it came to that. Ben has shown no ability to control himself – coaches should be X’s and O’s geniuses and leaders – not babysitters.

Honest question. And actually anyone can answer who would have an answer… Why do you care about the professionalism of the franchise? Why do you care if Ben is playing or not? Many folks have them going 0-16 this season with Ben behind center, and the Steelers all but folding the year after and the Rooney’s getting busted for child porn. Karma will have been served, an extra playoff spot to fight over, and the Browns move up a spot in the division by default.
One would think you’d want things to remain as they are.

Wondering what Tomlin’s making? NFL Network has been reporting for at least 24 hours the deal is worth $5 mil/year.
Wondering if the Rooneys blame Tomlin for Ben’s off-field hijinks? Did they blame Cowher? You think Roethlisberger suddenly started acting the idiot when Tomlin showed up? You think they blame him for Reed beating up towel dispensers? The oil leak in the Gulf?
