ok, so as someone who lives near GreenBay and has tried very hard to get tickets under $600 to ANY packer game where so i go for these incredible deals you are talkign about man.. People around here fight like cats and dogs to try and get tickets to a single game once in their lifetime. Sounds like you are just upset that Favre left.

My god, Pervy is so pathetic. Annuvin hit the nail right on the head. Pervy obviously has no real life friends and uses this site as his only outlet to the rest of the world. He’s not fooling anybody. He has developed a false reality and false perception of his life, and himself as a person. I have been to Lambeau several times during the Favre era and have never had a problem getting tickets. However, I purchased mine from an online scalper and didn’t ever receive a 20-40% discount. Driving from Toronto, I didn’t want to be disappointed if there were none available when I got there. I can also assure you that the majority of season ticket holders sell their tickets for a profit so fans like me can attend a game.

Hmm, I travel all over (fishing) and I see more Packer jerseys then Viking jerseys in the midwest. I was surprised last fall with my travels to Northern MN at the lack of locals wearing Viking jerseys, and THAT with the lucky season they were having. Hate to this season.

The Vikings organization is financially stable with an owner and GM who know how to run a team. All that is missing is te stadium, which will be passed this year.
Meanwhile, across the boarder, you have a roundtable of backwoods hillbillies and a handjob knuckle-shuffler GM driving a team into the ground.
I guess the plan on renovating Lambeau is officially cancelled.
It will be sad to see the Pack circle the toilet like they did in the 70′s.

If I am seeing this right:
-There are two categories of earning for each team: Those to be shared/Those not to be shared
-The Packers sell out every game, are in the top 10 in merch sales, play nearly the max number of prime time games, and do not spend up to the cap but still are not gaining ground.
-How the hell are the bottom 10 teams in the league even operating under this system?
-If the books open up, I would have trouble believing the Packers are worse off then too many other teams.

Player costs are part of the problem, and owners such as Jerry Jones are ALSO part of the problem. Most owners are pretty good about it, and the fact they jammed this recent CBA through despite warnings that 59.4 % is unsustainable for them shows how anxious they are not to cause labor trouble – people forget the anxiety that began surging late in the negotiations before this deal got rammed through.

Ah..I just met with Bus Cook and have some very important news for the world…I was sitting in the strip club and was talking to my lil princess Tyesha.She looked at me with tears in her makeup caked eyes and said,”Daddy,I really want you to shit on Packer fans one more season on PFT.We support you daddy.”
I have been down at the local grade school hurling insults to the kids.Not sure what I have left but I’m feeling pretty good. All the pieces are in place.I know it’s not a one fan team to win or lose. And for those saying the Packers are losing money, note that the report shows the Packers reported $258 million in revenue in 2009-10 — a record for the team — and net income, or net profit, of $5.2 million, an increase from $4 million in 2008-09.
For you financial geniuses like Pervy, that means they did better than last year… without favre.
