DePack says:

I know the loudmouth Packer fans on this site will disagree with me but they are in the minority. I know...sell outs...waiting lists etc will always be because they have a great product and nobody wants to give up their tickets but you can show up game day and get tickets for 20-40% off.
------------
Why would I want to be on a 80,000+ waiting list to purchase tickets at full price when I can just buy them on game day at 20-40% off? How can this be!? I thought being on that list was an exclusive group of die-hard Packer fans who cherish to one day be able to sit in the bleacher seats at Lambeau! So what youre telling me is that this reverance for sellout crowds and opportunity to watch the Packers in Lambeau is no different than going to watch the Bengals or...yikes...the Vikings!?
Excellent post by the way - glad to hear the truth come out from a real Packer fan
----------------
ok, so as someone who lives near GreenBay and has tried very hard to get tickets under $600 to ANY packer game where so i go for these incredible deals you are talkign about man.. People around here fight like cats and dogs to try and get tickets to a single game once in their lifetime. Sounds like you are just upset that Favre left.

My god, Pervy is so pathetic. Annuvin hit the nail right on the head. Pervy obviously has no real life friends and uses this site as his only outlet to the rest of the world. He's not fooling anybody. He has developed a false reality and false perception of his life, and himself as a person. Nobody likes him and he should probably just stick with the internet for companionship because if he actually entered society, I don't think he would be able to handle the reaction that people would have if they saw his ugly face come in their direction... I actually feel bad for him.

I have been to Lambeau several times during the Favre era and have never had a problem getting tickets. However, I purchased mine from an online scalper and didn't ever receive a 20-40% discount. Driving from Toronto, I didn't want to be disappointed if there were none available when I got there. I can also assure you that the majority of season ticket holders sell their tickets for a profit so fans like me can attend a game.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!
Hey Twizzler, it's your Purple Pansies that are immediate danger of moving to L.A. Unless they get a stadium deal in the immediate future, you can kiss your franchise goodbye.
Why the hell do you think Wilf took a big chance on a 40+ QB who has a seriously bad habit on throwing the ball away on the biggest play of the game? He's ended the last two NFC Championships in exactly the same spectacular fashion. Prepare for it again.... That is IF your fractured team even makes the playoffs this season.
No Lombardi for you!

The Vikings organization is financially stable with an owner and GM who know how to run a team. All that is missing is te stadium, which will be passed this year.
Meanwhile, across the boarder, you have a roundtable of backwoods hillbillies and a handjob knuckle-shuffler GM driving a team into the ground.
I guess the plan on renovating Lambeau is officially cancelled.
It will be sad to see the Pack circle the toilet like they did in the 70's.

Wow is just shows the class of other football fans. The Packers are one of the most historical team ever. For all you viking fans, your team might not be around in 5 or 10 years because you can't get a new staduim approved, talk about fan support.

If I am seeing this right:
-There are two categories of earning for each team: Those to be shared/Those not to be shared
-The Packers sell out every game, are in the top 10 in merch sales, play nearly the max number of prime time games, and do not spend up to the cap but still are not gaining ground.
-How the hell are the bottom 10 teams in the league even operating under this system?
-If the books open up, I would have trouble believing the Packers are worse off then too many other teams.

This is really funny. Viking fans busting Packer fans for "losing money" , "losing t shirt sales" , "scalping tickets at discount prices" , "going instinct" , etc.
Here's the financial truth, the Vikings are on welfare! We'd have more profits if we hadn't been giving your team the money it needs to compete. Not that we mind, George Halas helped us out of a few scrapes back in the day. Just try a little intellectual honesty.
Pervy; retire to the kitchen and use all of your instinct to make me a grilled cheese sandwhich.

Player costs are part of the problem, and owners such as Jerry Jones are ALSO part of the problem. Most owners are pretty good about it, and the fact they jammed this recent CBA through despite warnings that 59.4 % is unsustainable for them shows how anxious they are not to cause labor trouble - people forget the anxiety that began surging late in the negotiations before this deal got rammed through.

I don't know who is more stupid. FoF who believes that any financial woes the Packers experience is because of Brett Favre and not the worst economy since the Great Depression, or pervy harvin who can't spell and obviously has a load of social disorders.
I will go with the Favre die-hard every time for the stupid award. Congrats, FoF. You get to watch your hero throw even more costly INTs for yet another season. Enjoy!

Yeah, it MUST be all because of Brett Favre. Nothing to do with the economy since 2007...No offense, but you are an idiot. If the economy hasn't effected you, congrats. But being in the financial sector, I see it everyday. Especially in an area like GB.

Ah..I just met with Bus Cook and have some very important news for the world...I was sitting in the strip club and was talking to my lil princess Tyesha. She looked at me with tears in her makeup caked eyes and said,"Daddy,I really want you to shit on Packer fans one more season on PFT.We support you daddy."
I have been down at the local grade school hurling insults to the kids. Not sure what I have left but I'm feeling pretty good. All the pieces are in place.I know it's not a one fan team to win or lose. I really believe this fan base has a lot of potential - whether it's this year or in years to come, I don't know.I'm pretty boring, actually. I'm gonna just give it a go.... I really want to beat the Packeer fans bad...When fish are in schools, they sometimes take debate.
.......I would like to announce my unretirement.

Sando, your factual data comes from where? Out of your ass doesn't count.
And for those saying the Packers are losing money, note that the report shows the Packers reported $258 million in revenue in 2009-10 -- a record for the team -- and net income, or net profit, of $5.2 million, an increase from $4 million in 2008-09.
For you financial geniuses like Pervy, that means they did better than last year... without favre.
