The Tennessee Titans have announced the signings of rookie third-round pick Rennie Curran and veteran free agent Sean Ryan.
Curran, smallish linebacker from Georgia, ranked fifth in our 4-3 outside linebacker rankings published prior to the NFL Draft. He led the SEC in tackles with 135 last season, earning first-team all-conference honors. On April 8th, we predicted Curran would be selected 97th overall by the Titans.
And he was selected 97th overall by the Titans.
Ryan is a blocking tight end. He figures to compete with Craig Stevens and undrafted rookie Steve Pfahler to be third on the depth chart behind Bo Scaife and Jared Cook.
