you dont know what your talking about… Brooks Foster is a lock to make the roster. Dominique Curry needs to move a little further but hes at LEAST making practice squad and spags has also said that Dominique Curry has shown promise. i wouldnt be shocked if he made the roster because Amendola is now expendable because of Mardy Gilyard

If Steven Jackson doesn’t know who the players are, then he shouldn’t be trying to say that he really likes what they bring to the team. The fact is that it’s likely neither Curry or Foster will even make the team. If you’re going to talk about recievers that will make a difference, then at least mention the guys who are going to see the field… oh yeah, Steven Jackson doesn’t know their names or numbers either because he’s too busy “leading by example”.

He hasn’t been able to play with them yet and Curry (No. 15) was a rookie on a tryout basis. There’s like 90 players there trying out. I wouldn’t want to learn 40 names I won’t even have to know in a month. He is a leader by example by what he does on the field and by how he doesn’t request a trade.

LOL at your Sanders comparison. Barry would’ve retired from football rather than play multiple seasons with the late 00s Rams. The guy cried about being on a team that went to the playoffs five times in seven years.

To be drafted by a team, stick it out with them when times are bad, and to still be there when things get good again has to be very satisfying to some athletes, like Jackson. Much more gratifying, at least, to someone who jumps ship, goes to a beast team and wins a championship immediately.
Lebron is going to learn that the hard way.

The second best back in the league after CJ.Without any weapons to help relieve the pressure,he still managed to lead the NFC in rushing.They still have alot of holes on offense.It’s sad he’s being wasted in St Louis.My favorite power back besides Eddie George.

bad pay, not getting along with peers, health issus, fine, but leaving a team because you think your too good to be there is the most selfish thing a player can do. im glad hes hanging in there. That shows how much heart he has. st luis should be proud to have a guy like that in their uniform

Jackson is a run-to-contact runner, ala Marion Barber III. With a few exceptions, such as Jerome Bettis, those kinds of runners tend to have shorter careers (think Bo Jackson, Earl Campbell). Unfortunately, by the time the Rams get back to being a competitive team, Jackson’s best days might have passed him by…….Sad, really. He’s a special player.

His inspiration from Thomas Jones is naive. Jones wasn’t getting 300-400 touches until his 5th season, while Jackson was getting that many just his second year out.

You know…..With all the douchebags that populate pro sports teams, you have to admire a man like Jackson…Just a hard nosed football player who gives his best effort whenever he’s on the field, and doesn’t embarass himself off of it…I remember being at the game where i think it was Sheldon Brown laid him out, knocked off his helmet, a violent hit, and he jumped right up and ran after his helmet, and got right back into the huddle, no prima donna BS, and he has the talent to be a prima donna..I admire his toughness…
