Vikings coach Brad Childress is in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, today, checking in on quarterback Brett Favre.
WDAM TV in Mississippi reports that Childress arrived in Hattiesburg Sunday night, and that he and Favre were both at the University of Southern Mississippi’s 7-on-7 passing camp for local high school players.
Asked what brought him to Hattiesburg, Childress said, “You can fill in the blanks.”
We’ll fill in the blanks, then: Childress is in town to talk to Favre about the 2010 season, and Favre is telling Childress he plans to play but wants a little more time, and Childress is telling Favre that it’s OK for Favre to wait another month before he makes up his mind.
