I think the armchair QB’s are overthinking the Browns QB deal. Find a way to watch the Browns games (not sportscenter) from last year. Jake Delhomme would be the best QB the Browns could have picked since he’s a vet with big game experience (unlike every QB they’ve had except Trent Dilfer) and he won’t mind taking a backseat to their real offense which will be the 37,000 high round running backs and two highly mobile QB’s they have. I have a feeling the Browns offense will be similar to what the Cowboys had in the early 90′s. That running game got Troy Aikman AND Micheal Irvin into the hall of fame because everyone was so worried about Emmitt Smith, they were left to do what they wanted. Unless Peyton Hillis, James Davis, Jerome Harrison, Chris Jennings Monterio Hardesty, Lawrence Vickers, Josh Cribbs, Seneca Wallace, Ben Watson and Even Moore are all busts, Their backfield is probably the scariest in the NFL to try to prepare for on paper.

All guys who have had some bad seasons in the past but recooperated & reestablished their career.
Jason Campbell – a guy that has been shit on by fans of every team imaginable. Ever looked at his stats? He has one of the best completion percentages, a very solid QB Rating, in the middle of the pack with overall stats every year, yet gets the blame consistently for the Redskins woes.
I am going to lmao when Delhomme & Campbell have very solid 10′ campaigns & lead two cellar dwellars to the playoffs while some of the norms are sitting at home sulking over their teams shittiness!

Keep in mind, Mangini is the same guy who said that he’d fully stand behind the winner of last year’s QB competition, as he intended to provide his QB with the confidence and security knowing the team and organization would be fully behind him.
After naming Anderson the “winner,” as of Week One, 2.5 weeks later Mangini benched him.
So the players know that Mangini’s word doesn’t exactly carry a lot of water.

This is the truth. He had one poor year. Most fans love to comment on things they don’t know from their own observations but from only a few lowlights or parroting of other media dipsh**s, that’s why. Or they are fantasy football types and just look at stats.
I knew Florio didn’t write this one when I saw ZERO nasty cracks about JD in it. Some people need to learn they can critique players and their play without being nasty and mean spirited when a guy doesn’t deserve that. Save that tactic for the turds of the league please and don’t use it on the truly good guys like JD who are actually great men and role models.

I hope that ALL of the teams that play the Browns this year focus on the QB…and keep thinking that “this game against Cleveland is an automatic win.”
I love low expectations.
And when you all find out that it’s the running game you have to worry about…and getting pushed around by Joe Thomas, Alex Mack & Company…your team’s defense won’t be so concerned about the starting QB. At least, not after they get their heads handed to them by Vickers and faked out of their shoes by Harrison and Hardesty.
Then…when they are ready to stop another run…Jake and Mo Mass will smoke their asses down-field.
I love the Cleveland Browns. I love your low expectations. It only makes kicking your team’s ass that much sweeter.
