Though it’s not yet likely that the Cowboys will have first-round receiver Dez Bryant under contract by the first day of training camp, the agent who presided over a protracted holdout in 2009 is singing a different tune this time around.
“We are going to work to get it done as soon as possible,” Eugene Parker told Clarence E. Hill, Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “They want it done. We want it done.”
Meanwhile, Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com reports that Bryant could miss the first few days of camp as the deal is finalized.
