The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they’ve signed second-round draft pick Brian Price.
Price, who was selected 35th overall in the 2010 draft, is the highest-drafted player under contract in the league.
“I’m glad my agent got the deal done, so now I can concentrate on having a great training camp,” Price said in the team’s announcement. “I’m looking forward to contributing to the Buccaneers’ dominant defensive tradition.”
A defensive tackle out of UCLA, Price is likely to start alongside fellow rookie defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, who was selected in the first round, No. 3 overall.
What about the 2nd year bonus?
Where’s Florio?
Got any numbers to go with it
Great move Bucs. Let’s get McCoy signed now.
Good job Buccaneers.
It is nice to see the Buccaneers providing a little leadership for the league.
Season prediction just upgraded from 3 to 3.000125 wins. Sweet.
The price was right.
Odds are Price and McCoy will be the best D tackle combo in the NFL eventually.
good at dt,lb,db now if we only had a stud de to play along side white so he could get free to make plays… solid d I just wish we had more at de its not saying much when white is your #1 option on the pass rush with no one else to contend with on the other side
Cover2, it’ll take 3 good drafts to clean up the mess that GruAllen left.
Next yr, we get our DE/RB… and then we’ll be ready to make some noise.
Any other 2nds signed besides Price and Ducasse?
