Last year’s fantasy disappointments often become this
year’s best
values.
The 2009 rookie running back was arguably the worst of the last decade in top-tier talent, failing to contain a 1,000-yard rusher or top-20 fantasy running back. The Rotoworld online draft guide projects the group to perform much better this
year.
Shonn Green will get plenty of hype, but we still
see him as
an excellent late second-round value.
Beanie Wells and Knowshon Moreno are better positioned for
success this
year than a year ago; both look like high ceiling RB2s that you can take
in rounds three or
four. (Moreno especially is getting overlooked.)
LeSean McCoy could put up Brian Westbrook-lite
numbers for
PPR leaguers, while Fantasy Nation has essentially given up on Donald
Brown
after one year. We haven’t; you could do
a lot worse for a mid-to-late round RB4 pick.
Remember that
running backs retain trade value better than other positions, so you want to draft quality depth.
And of course, you can get complete projections to all of the runners
above and other
post-hype favorites, tiers, customizable scoring and all the rest at Rotoworld’s award-winning online draft guide.

Fantasy Football is not real football.
This should be a blog for the public about the NFL and not little children’s games.
Who would ever pay for that crap when I can get it for FREE elsewhere????
Hey, Bob Nelson: Thumb your ass.
I think Beanie Wells is WAY overhyped this year. He’ll be the casualty of a crap passing game. With Warner gone, opposing defenses will stack the line and force Leinert or Anderson to throw the ball more than 8 yards, with accuracy. Something neither of them can do.
Warner is gone. The ripple effect will be significant.
Stop giving people my ideas!
Oh Bob no one made you read it or come here and make a comment.
I have for years not picked running backs until the 3rd or 4th round. Get your WRs first. There aren’t many of them and if you take them 1 and 2 in your draft you will be set. Than look for your RB. The NFL is a passing league and RBs come out of nowhere every year.
