Bills place Joe Klopfenstein on injured reserve

The Bills cleared a spot on their active roster Thursday by moving tight end Joe Klopfenstein to injured reserve, theoretically ending his season.

The former Rams second round pick was a longshot to make the roster and suffered from an undisclosed injury during most of the Spring.  It’s possible the Bills could reach an injury settlement with Klopfenstein so he could play elsewhere.

After four uninspiring seasons, there may not be any more interest out there.

    Rosenthal Says Klopfenstein Is Done.
Isn’t that the name of a famous play?

It’s an especially hard blow for the Bills since Joe’s full name takes up two spots on the injured reserve list.

I think that the point/question here is: Who are the Bills making roster room for? Are they close to signing Troupe? Spiller?
